Description[]
Egg Drop 2008 was the first Egg Drop event in Roblox, and within the Egg Drop series. The event had started in Early 2008. There were a little amount of eggs. Eggs were to drop in every single Roblox game at certain times. Players were allowed to collect an infinite amount of eggs. This event was also known as the "Eggstravaganza", or "Eggstravaganza 2008" officially.

Fake Eggs[]
These eggs were created by Shedletsky to trick other players into thinking they were real eggs. Most of them were never obtainable apart from the Bluesteel Egg of Genius, which was reused for the ROtris event, and the Tiny Egg of Nonexistence, which was reused for the 2021 Metaverse Champions event.
Catalog Items[]
This was the was the first Egg Hunt/Egg Drop to introduce, catalog items. These items were just hats or accessories that were released during the event.
